Family First
Program
The Family First Program works directly with families to connect them with resources and to provide financial literacy education. Enhance family social mobility and connect non-English speaking families to services. The program includes Afterschool & Summer programs, employment, VITA Free Tax Filing, SSA benefits, citizenship, interpreting and translation, SNAP, Medicaid, and many other services as deemed necessary.
The Violence Prevention Program focuses on providing advocacy, outreach & education, and cultural competency training for community and service providers. The program also works with victims of violence to help them maneuver through the legal processes as well as to provide supportive services and resources.

Again
The program was launched in 2012 to promote healthy lifestyles and physical activities. Through this initiative, Community Health Workers coordinate exercises, and nutritional & health workshops weekly for residents of all ages, especially the young at heart ages 50 and older, every Tuesday & Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 am
With a commitment to ongoing, sustainable economic and human development, VIET works with local business owners to provide technical assistance by connecting to available resources, such as lending opportunities, payroll and accounting services, marketing, and many other services.
